Files and folders exclusion from Norton Antivirus

  1. 1.Open the Norton antivirus software and select Settings.

  2. 2.Select Antivirus.

    Settings > Antivirus
  3. 3.Select the Scans and Risks tab.

  4. 4.Scroll down to the Exclusions/Low Risks section and select Configure [+] next to Items to Exclude From Scans.

    Select Clear Files IDs Excluded During Scans to reset your exclusion settings.

  5. 5.Select Add Folders or Add Files and choose the file/folder you want to exclude.

    ----->If you done in antivirus user account pleaseexlude the below path:
    Browse for folder C:\Users\<<User name>>\AppData\Local\TimeChamp   OR  C:\Users\<<User name>>\AppData\Local\Svcvtt and click OK

    ----->If you are done in antivirus admin account please exclude the below paths:
    %SystemDrive%\Users\*\AppData\Local\TempInstall
    %SystemDrive%\Users\*\AppData\Local\TimeChamp Or Svcvtt

  6. Add Folders and Add Files buttons


When you are finished, select OK to save the changes.

At this point, you can exit any open windows and close the Norton software.


Note: If the Time Champ application is moved to quarantine, please follow the guide below to restore it to exclusions.
