Step 1: Go to the below path in SharePoint and download the AD file
Step 2: Open the AD file. You'll get "TC SHARE "folder and a bash file.
Step 3: Remove the Timechamp-installer bash file from this folder .
Go to the below path and download the new bash file from Sharepoint.
Step 4: Replace the old bash file with a newly downloaded bash file.
Step 5: Open the bash file and modify below changes in the bash file
Interactive :
SET TIMECHAMP_NAME = Interactive
SET TRACKER_INSTALLER_FILE = setup.exe
SET TRACKER_COMPANY_ENCRYPTEDFILENAME = download the setup file from the dashboard and copy the key here
SET SHARE_PATH = copy thetcshare folder in n path here
Silent :
SET TIMECHAMP_NAME = Svcvtt
SET TRACKER_INSTALLER_FILE = setup-stl.exe
SET TRACKER_COMPANY_ENCRYPTEDFILENAME = download the setup file from the dashboard and copy the key here
SET SHARE_PATH = copy the tcshare folder in c drive/shared folder and copy the path here
After modifications save the file .
Step 6: Download the setup file from below link
interactive : https://customer.sites1.timechamp.io/tracker/windows/interactive/setup.exe
silent : https://customer.sites1.timechamp.io/tracker/windows/silent/setup-stl.exe
if the customer belongs to Site 2 or Site 3, in the above link replaces Site 1 with customer site
After downloading, copy the setup file and paste inside TCSHARE FOLDER .
Before that, remove the setup file from the TCSHARE folder, copy the newly downloaded setup file from above link and place the uninstall file in the same folder.
Step 7 : Copy the "TC SHARE" folder and paste it on c drive
Step 8 : Right click on the "TCSHARE" folder and select"properties" Give permission to everyone and check in sharing permissions is there for everyone or not .
Step 9 : Follow the path shown in below figure ,paste the copied bash file in the scripts folder and copy the bash filename
Step 10: After copying the file name, go to the ad and go to the user accounts section, as shown below.
Step 11: Right-click on any user you need to install and select properties.
Step 12: In properties, select profile, paste the copied bash file name into the login script, and click on apply and OK.
Once the user logs out and logs in, his account setup file will be installed.
