Add an exception
Setting a global exception will exclude individual files, folders, or websites from all scans and shields.
To set a global exception:
- Open Avast Antivirus and go to
☰
Menu ▸ Settings. - Select General ▸ Exceptions, then click Add exception.
- Add an exception in one of the following ways:
- Type the specific file / folder path or URL into the text box, then click Add exception.
- Click Browse, tick the box next to a file or folder, then click OK and Add exception.
In the Interactive agent we have to exclude these folders from Antivirus :
---> C:\Users\select login username\AppData\Local\TimeChamp
---> C:\Users\ select login username\AppData\Local\TempInstall
---> setup file
And also exclude the site address as well
Successfully Excluded the folders from Antivirus
