Install Time Champ On Windows 7

Learn how to set up Time Champ Application in your system

NOTE: If you are using proxy server, please whitelist *.snovasys.io and *.timechamp.io. This is must for smooth functioning of Time Champ software. If you are not using any proxy server just ignore.

Step 1: Click here to download and Install offline sp1

You will be redirected to a Microsoft page, where you can download offline sp1 according to your windows version and double click on the downloaded file to install.

Step 2: Download and Install offline .Net framework from here

In order to install the .Net framework, you have to grant access to your system. As soon as you click on Yes on the permission popup the .Net files will be extracted. Once all the files are extracted, a new popup will appear. You have to enable the provided check box. and click on Install button After that .Net framework will be installed on your machine

Note: If you have already installed the required .Net framework you can skip this step.

Step 3: Download the MSI file from here and install the MSI file

This msi installation will make sure the Time Tracker is running. 

Step 4 Download the setup file from here

Installation of this setup file is very important. This setup contains Time Champ agent.

Step 5: Install the setup file

Double click on the setup file to install. The setup will be installed in the background. If you face any problems while installing Time Champ agent on your computer please refer this article to resolve the installation problems.

After the installation of Time Champ agent on your computer below screen will be appeared on your computer in which you need to give your site address and credentials

Step 6: Enter the Site address and your credentials

• Enter the site address to which the tracker is pointing/targeting ( contact with your manager/admin to get the site address if you do not have it) in the site name field. Here we are using support.snovasys.io. 

The format of the site address will be like this <yourcompany>.snovasys.io

• User name should be your email id which was given in your site and for password you will get a mail from TimeChamp to set your password.
