How to install Time Champ on MAC

Learn how to set up Time Champ Application in your system.

Each team member must temporarily disable their antivirus, and install the Time Champ package.

Step 1: Login into your Time Champ account

example site address is test.timechamp.io

To login into the site click on sign in after giving the credentials 

Step 2: Go to the Users tab

Click on the Users tab 

Step 3: Click on the download agent button

below screen will appear

Step 4: Download the agent with automatic user creation

Automatic User Creation: If you select an auto user creation option and install. The user would be added automatically. 

After clicking on the advanced options on the download agent page, advance options are displayed like this

Check the auto-creation type

Auto Creation: Users would be auto-created from desktop logins

After selecting auto user creations Click on the Download agent button. The setup file will be downloaded.

Step 5: Install the setup file

Extract the downloaded zip file and double click on the .pkg file and install the application

If you did get an error, then go to System Preferences and Security & Privacy. In the General, tab click on the Open Anyway button. Then the .pkg file will be opened and installed.

Below screen will have appeared, click on next.. next.. and installed 

Step 6: Give permissions to Time Champ

Open System Preferences in Mac and go to Security & Privacy. Go to the Privacy tab and add the Time Champ app from the Applications folder to Accessibility, Input Monitoring, and Screen Recording permissions.

Step 7: Run-Time Champ

Now Open the Applications folder and double click on the Time Champ app it will be displayed on the computer with an automatic login using the app is displayed as below.

Step 5:  Run the following command in Terminal

Open Terminal application on your Mac and install the following command

launchctl load /Users/<<UserName>>/Library/LaunchAgents/com.snovasys.timechamp.plist

In the above command replace <<UserName>> with the user name that you have logged in to Macbook.

Note: If you could not run the above command in the Terminal please restart the MacBook

Step 6: Download the agent with manual user creation

Manual User Creation :

For the manual user creation, we need to add the user first.

To add a user, click on the Add User in the users tab

After clicking on Add user, the below screen will be displayed

Give the all mandatory fields
*First name 
*Last name 
*ID
*Username or email id and click on Add user button

After creating the user, select the Download agent button, click on the Advanced option

Check the auto-creation type

Auto Creation: Users would need to be added to the system manually

After selecting auto user creations Click on the Download agent button. The setup file will be downloaded.

Step 7: Run-Time Champ

Now Open the Applications folder and double click on the Time Champ app it will be displayed on the computer with an automatic login user and the app is displayed as below.

After installing the application, the below screen will appear 

Enter the credentials and click on login, After clicking on login Time Champ app will be started running.
