Navigate to the projects module.
Step 1: Click on "+" Icon to add the new project
Step 2: After clicking the add icon below, a popup will be displayed.
Fill out the form with the required fields
- Enter the project name and the project responsible person.
- Enter the client's type.
- Enter the start date and the end date.
If the project is related to non-billable work, then go to step 3. If the project is related to the
billable, then go to step 4
Step 3:
If the project is non-billable you can disable the "is billable" option then we will get the below popup
If you want to add any custom fields related to the projects here, you can add them; otherwise, you can click on Next.
After that, the below popup appears, and you click on the "Add Project" button.
After clicking on the "Add Project" button, the project is successfully added.
Step 4:
If the project is billable, then enable the button and follow the below steps.
- Fill out the form with the required fields
- Enter the project name and the project responsible person.
- Enter the client's type.
- Enter the start date and the end date.
- If the project is billable, then enable the button.
- Then click on Next.
If you want to add any custom fields related to the projects here, you can add them; otherwise, you can click on Next.
After that, the below popup appears:
Here are the details about the budget:
- Select the budget type
- Select the project based on pay rate or Bill rate
- Enter the Total hours
- If you wish to receive notifications when the budget reaches a specific percentage, please specify that percentage here.
After that, click on the "Next" button.
Select the employees you need to add to the project
Click on the edit icon related to the user to assign them to the project.
Edit them with the role and allocation percentage and click on the update button.
Enter the allocation start and end dates and allocation percentage. Then click on the allocate resource.
Finally, click on Add project.
Now you can view the project in the list of projects.
