How to create Sprints

Here to learn how to create the sprint to the project


Step 1: Log in to your site with credentials in the browser

Click on the sign in button


Step 2: Go to Projects



below screen will appear



Step 3: Add Project


Click on the plus button(+) on the top right side of the screen



below screen will be appeared, fill all mandatory fields and then click on Add project button




Step 4: Create Sprints


Click on the three dots horizontal menu, select the project settings



 


Enable the Agile view check box for that Click on the Edit icon



Select the Enable agile view check box then click the Save button 



Now Click on  Active tab then sprints tab was displayed at sidebar then click on it



Click on Go to the backlog



Click on the plus(+) button on the top right side




  • Clicking on it create work item is displayed from there you can create work items for the sprints.



  • You can also add work items to sprints by drag and drop way.
  • Hold any work item drag and drop in the “Plan a sprint by dragging the Work items here”



  • You can create subtasks by clicking on the arrow symbol at the starting of the work item name and click on create subtask.



  • Click on it then a work item field is displayed enter the work item name and click on the Add button.
  • You can create multiple work items at a time by pressing the enter option after entering each work time name and finally click on the Add button.
  • Also, add estimated time for the sprint work items and sub-tasks.



 


Step 5: Execute the sprints


Right-click on the created sprints



A pop is displayed



  • You can start the sprint by clicking on the start sprint option.



  • Clicking on it a popup is displayed select the start and end date of sprints from the calendar and click on the start button.
  • Then the sprint will be moved to the active sprints.



  • You can view the active sprints by clicking on the three dots option.


  • You can edit the sprint and by clicking on it.



  • A pop up is displayed and you can assign the sprint responsible person and can change the sprint data and click on the update button.



  • You can delete a sprint by clicking on the delete sprint option.



  • A pop up is displayed and click on the “Yes” button to delete the created sprint.



You can complete the active sprint by right-clicking on the sprint name 


  • Clicking on it a pop up is opened and select Complete sprint from it.



Clicking on it a pop up is opened then click on “yes” then the sprint is completed and in completed work items are moved to the backlog
