The purpose of adding watchers is to send Assignee mails and notification for other members if we want to send who is not assigned to the userstory.
It sends work item Assignee mail and notification for watchers who are added to that task.
Step 1: Log in to your site with credentials in the browser

Click on sign in button
Step 2: Go to Projects
The following screen will appear.
Step 3: Click on any project name
You can get the following page
- Here you can see the tasks related to the project
- Click on the task for which you want to add the watchers
- Then you will get the task information on the right side panel
- You can see the watchers list in that
If there are no watchers for the task, it displays " No Watchers " message
Step 4: Adding Watchers
Click on the plus icon
- Then you will get the Add watcher pop-up like below
- Select employee name from the drop-down
- Now you can successfully added watcher to the task
- The added watcher name will be displayed under the watchers list like below
- If you want to remove the watcher, you can click on cancel icon
You can perform hide and open the watchers list by using arrow icon
- Click on the right arrow to open the watchers information
- Click on the down arrow to hide the watchers information
