How to create Work item Types ?

Here learn how to create work items types


Step 1: Log in to your site with credentials in the browser

Click on sign in button


Step 2: Go to Projects



below screen will appear



Select the created project


Step 3: Add the goal


Click on the Go to backlog button



Click on the plus button



below screen will appear


  • Enter all the values in the fields and click on the Add button.
  • Fields marked as an asterisk (*) are needed to fill compulsory fields.
  • select the board type for creating different work item type like super Agile, kanban, kanban bug board




Step 4: Create Kanban work item type


Click on the thumb symbol to approve the goal once all the tasks are added.



To add the tasks in the kanban click on the plus button below screen will be appeared



Fill the all the mandatory fields(*)  then click on the Add button



  • Once working against the task has been started, the status should be changed to Inprogress and once the task is completed status should be updated to Completed. In order to change the status, drag the work item to the respective status blocks.


Step 5: Create a Super Agile work item type


select the super agile board then click on the Add button




Click on create a work item(+) add the work item and click on Add button otherwise click on the Cancel button 




  • After adding the work item then assign the owner of the work item and give the deadline and  estimate time of the work item


Click on the thumb symbol for Approve the goal
