Learn how to set up the Time Champ application in employee's systems.
Each team member must temporarily disable their antivirus and install the Time Champ package.
Step 1: Login into your Time Champ account
Step 2: Click on the download agent button.
Step 3: A pop-up will appear as shown below. Click on Windows.
Step 4: A popup will show an option to install for employees or yourself; click on "To install for employees."
Step 5: After step 4, there will be a popup showing whether to install the application directly on the user system or through servers or AD.
Select the single user/individual user file if an individual user is using the system.
Note: If you want to install the application through servers, follow till step 8 and skip to step: 10
Step 6: Select the type of Time Champ Application
Step 7: Click on the type of installation, i.e., click on automatic if it's a new user; if the user already exists, click on manual.
Step 8: After this, click on the checkbox and click on download.
Warning : Please make sure that you do not click on the download button multiple times
If the setup file is downloaded multiple times, delete it and download it. This is to ensure that the file name of the setup file is not changed.
Step 9: After the download is completed, open or run the setup file.
The command prompt will be displayed after opening the downloaded setup file
After installing the setup file, the Time Champ app will be displayed on the computer with an automatic login user, and the app is displayed as below.
The installation of Time Champ is complete.
If it's a silent file, it won't appear in any kind of pop-up on the screen.
Multiple-User Installation
Note : this process needs to be done in the admin login
After the download is completed
Step 10: Open Run or Win + R and type the command as shown.
shell:common startup
Step 11: A folder will be opened.
Paste the setup file that you have downloaded in that folder.
The installation process will start when the users login to the system, and the application will run automatically.
Note: Make sure to delete the setup file in the "shell:common startup" after all the users have logged in and the installation is complete.
