Guide to Retrieve Time Champ Logs from a Mac System

Follow the steps below to retrieve the Time Champ logs from a Mac system:

Step 1: Open the System

  1. Turn on the Mac system.

  2. Locate the Go option at the top-left corner of the screen in the Finder menu.

Step 2: Access the Computer Section

  1. Click on the Go option.

  2. From the dropdown menu, select Computer.

Step 3: Navigate to the Disk and Users Tab

  1. In the Computer section, locate and select the system disk (e.g., Macintosh HD).

  2. Within the disk, find and select the Users tab.

Step 4: Select the Desired User

  1. In the Users tab, identify and select the user for whom you want to retrieve the logs (this should be the currently logged-in user).


Step 5: Access the Library Folder

  1. Inside the user’s folder, locate the Library folder.

    • If the Library folder is not visible, press Command + Shift + . (period) to reveal hidden files and folders.

  2. Once visible, select the Library folder.

Step 6: Locate the Logs Folder

  1. Within the Library folder, navigate to the Logs folder.

  2. Inside the Logs folder, look for the Time Champ folder.

Step 7: Compress and Save the Logs

  1. Right-click on the Time Champ folder.

  2. Select Compress to create a zip file of the logs.

  3. Save the compressed file in a preferred location for further analysis.
